Well I have just read the beginning of my last blog entry and what did the first line say???  Well??  I said that I have been slack and not written anything for a while.  And once again I find myself in this situation.  I was actually easier to find a computer whilst I was travelling than it is here at home.  I do have one now (thanks to Mark) but I wont have it on the internet until this weekend.  It will be then that I will be able to commit some time to writing dribble on here.  It has been a case of waiting till the folks are off this PC and then making the most of it whilst I was on.

I have been to the physio about my shoulder, finally, and found outwhat is going on there.  It is a simple joint problem.  I had pushedthe ball out of the socket and that was the problem.  The pain iscause from the tendon in the shoulder joint catching because it is outof alinement.  It is getting better now.  Am doing a few exercises for it.

Here is bit of an update for the long weekend that we had in OZ just two weeks ago.  I had a fantastic time in Sydney and am looking forward to the next time I head up that way.

The weekend was great.  I took off from Canberra about 345 and headed straight up.  No stops.  Did it in 3 hours.  Not too bad really.  The car went really well.  First long trip and all.  Went out for a steak when I got there and a few beers at the pub followed by a few more (until they closed up and kicked us out).  Then retired home to chat and sing 80's songs till five in the morning (I cannot believe that I just admitted that).  Ben had fallen asleep earlier so it was just me and Stace.

Saturday was spent down the beach in Manly watching Ben, and others, play beach volleyball.  I wanted to play however couldnt cause of the whole shoulder thing.  Had a quite night that night watching a movie and having a couple of drinks.

Sunday Ben had to do cricket training so Stace and I went to the Sydney fish markets (which is bit of an experience) as she had never been.  I managed to convince her to try Calamari (she had had a rubbery experience with it once) and she liked it.  It was cooked properly.  And then we had a bbq in the evening before watching the Rugby League Grand Final on TV.  Bens' cousin came around with her fiance to watch the league.  We sat around on the front lawn and ate BBQ'ed prawns and played Bocce till the sun went down.  We watched the game and then chatted, drank and played cards till 3 in the morning well and truely smashed.  The night also include a quick run (well we were trying unti lwe found a cab) to the bottle shop only to find it closed.  RAH!!!

Monday just was for sleeping and chillin before driving home. 3 hours on the road after a big weekend is not always fun.  Summer is on its way.  We had 27 and 33 in Sydney on the weekend.  Itwas fantastic.
